The
EFEM sponsors lectures given by scientistsfamous
for their personal contribution to the Morphological
Sciences. These prestigious lectures are delivered
during Meetings organized in Europe by IFAA or
by Member Societies of EFEM.
The 1st EFEM Lecture
was presented in Rolduc (Netherlands)
by Professor Jan VOOGD on March 17 1998 during
the Joint Meeting of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the Nederlandse Anatomen Vereniging.
The 2nd EFEM Lecture
was given in Rome by Professor Nicole LE DOUARIN
on September 15 1999 during the Congress of
the International Federation of the Anatomical Associations (IFAA ).
The 3rd EFEM Lecture
was delivered by Professor Karl ZILLES
on July 26 2000 in Cambridge (UK) during the
Tripartite Meetingof the
Anatomical Society of Great Britain and
Ireland , the Anatomische Gesellschaft and the Nederlandse Anatomen Vereniging.
The 4th EFEM Lecture was given by Professor
Miklós PALKOVITS on October 11 2002
during the 64th Meeting of the Swiss Society for Anatomy, Histology
and Embryology in Fribourg (Switzerland).
The 5th EFEM Lecture was made by Professor Raymond GASSER on 7th July 2004 in Cork (Republic of Ireland) during the Summer Meeting of the Anatomical Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
The 6th EFEM Lecture was made by Professor David BRYNMOR THOMAS on 8th June, 2005 in Belgrade (Serbia & Montenegro) during the International Symposium on Morphological Sciences.
The 7th EFEM Lecture was deliverd by Professor Nabutaka HIROKAWA on 1st April, 2007 in Giessen (Germany) during the 102nd Meeting of the Anatomische Gesellschaft.
The 8th EFEM Lecture was given by Professor Michael FROTSCHER on the 17 th August, 2009 during the 17 th IFAA Congress in Cape Town (South Africa).
