Links to some similar Associations beyond EFEM

The International Federation of Association of Anatomists (IFAA) is nearly 100 years old. It established several specific Committees dealing with matters suchas Terminology, Publishing or Education. It held its last meeting in Romein September 1999.

The American Association of Anatomists (AAA) is the largest of its kind in the world. Its philosophy towards Morphology is similar to that of EFEM.

The English page of the Japanese Association of Anatomists is here.

The Anatomische Gesellschaft , founded 1886, is one of the oldest and German speaking anatomical societies in the world.

The International Society for Plastination provides a technical platform for many professionals in Gross Anatomy.

From São Paulo, the Sociedade Brasileira de Anatomia posts an interesting and rapidly growing Website (in Portuguese). A nice way to stimulate exchanges...

Hopefully to be continued.....

Other interesting Links

The American and British Associations of Clinical Anatomists deal with problems and data that are important to all morphologists.

∫Don't be mistaken: in spite of its name, GlobalAnatomy is "only" the very interesting site of the Department of Anatomy of the University of Wisconsin Medical School.
