is nearly 100 years old. It established several
specific Committees dealing with matters suchas
Terminology, Publishing or Education. It held
its last meeting in Romein September 1999.
The American Association of Anatomists (AAA) is
the largest of its kind in the world. Its philosophy
towards Morphology is similar to that of EFEM.

The International Society for Plastination provides a technical
platform for many professionals in Gross Anatomy.
